Style For Cancer is an inspiring initiative that unites the beauty, grooming, and style industry to support individuals undergoing cancer treatment. This movement aims to raise awareness and much-needed funds for the Look Good Feel Better (LGFB) program, ensuring that men, women, and young adults battling cancer can access free services that enhance their well-being and confidence.

The involvement of the beauty industry in Style For Cancer is crucial. Beauty professionals have the unique ability to significantly impact the emotional and psychological well-being of those undergoing cancer treatment. By participating in this initiative, they can provide more than just aesthetic services; they can offer a sense of normalcy, confidence, and support during a challenging time.

Style For Cancer equips beauty and grooming professionals with the knowledge and resources necessary to support clients navigating cancer diagnoses and treatments. Participating Style Makers will receive education on skin, hair, and body changes, treatment-specific sensitivities, and other side effects to consider when providing services to cancer patients. This initiative ensures that consultations and recommendations are approached with an informed and compassionate mindset.

Fundraising is a cornerstone of Style For Cancer, with Style Makers hosting events throughout August 2024 to support the cause. All participating professionals will be listed in an online directory, allowing Style Seekers – or individuals undergoing cancer treatment – to find compassionate and knowledgeable service providers across Australia.

For those not undergoing treatment, booking a service with participating Style Makers in August means supporting LGFB, as a portion of the service fee will be donated to the program.
