Initially thought to be a fad or only for the niche, veganism has completely captured our attention and the beauty market.
The recent years have seen a slew of vegan product releases, and the latest launch from UK-based Lush sits neatly in the category.
Originally exclusive to its London flagship stores, Lush is globally launching five new vegan haircare products.
The range includes three new shampoo bars, a wasabi shampoo and a smoothing conditioner, all of which are vegan.
Despite being known for its vibrant bath bombs, Lush Co-Founder and Inventor Mark Constantine‘s initial interest was hair. He trained as a trichologist (the study of hair and scalp) before founding the global cosmetics company with Liz Weir in 1995.
Lush Shampoo Bars are economical, packaging-free and self-preserving. They can last up to 100 washes, and the new additions are made with popular vegan ingredients such as aquafaba and coconut milk.
Wasabi Shan Kui Shampoo is formulated with wasabi to stimulate hair follicles and promote growth. A combination of horseradish, caffeine powder and menthol crystals create a cool tingling sensation when massaged into the scalp.
Lush also was recently voted the Customer Experience Champion at the National Retail Association Awards in Sydney.
Lush Vegan Haircare range is available nationwide and online from 19th September.
