Skinstitut debuted in 2008 as the result of a collaboration between leading pharmacists and cosmetic scientists. Over the past 14 years, the advanced cosmeceutical skincare brand has carved out a formidable reputation for its cutting-edge range of cleansers, exfoliators, moisturisers and serums at prices far below its local and international competitors.

The results-oriented Australian brand is sold through a who’s who of the country’s leading e-tailers and retailers, including Adore Beauty, Mecca, Lookfantastic, The Iconic, RY.com.au and Oz Hair & Beauty, in addition to hundreds of spas and clinics led by Laser Clinics Australia.

Skinstitut has forged a refreshed brand identity for the new year and introduced new packaging for the first time since its entry into the market. To further celebrate the new clean and sophisticated look, the brand has also launched three new powerhouse serums. Dermatologist-endorsed, the trio are suitable for all skin types and allow consumers to personalise their skincare routines.

When it comes to effective serums, it’s all about the concentration of active ingredients to produce the best results.

The 1% Hyaluronic Complex Serum contains four types of super-hydrating hyaluronic acid of different molecular weights to boost moisture retention. Also in the mix is pentavitin, a natural moisture magnet that provides 72 hours of hydration for dry, tired-looking skin.

Vitamin C has enjoyed a huge resurgence as a star ingredient for its rejuvenating, brightening and antioxidant benefits. Skinstitut’s new 10% Vitamin C Super Serum contains stabilised Vitamin C to ramp up radiance and texture, alongside ferulic acid to neutralise environmental aggressors, kakadu plum extract and licorice root extract to treat pigmentation.

Niacinamide is another work horse that has become one of the leading show ponies of modern skincare, as proved by its popularity on the 2022 Google list of most searched beauty terms. Skinstitut’s 10% Niacinamide Power Serum  is a top all-rounder to strengthen skin resilience, soothe inflammation, guard against oxidative damage and target acne-prone and ageing skin.

Skinstitut is also available in overseas markets, including Canada, Singapore and Singapore. When Adore Beauty looked to expand its presence in China on Alibaba a few years ago, the brand spearheaded the move together with other key Australian skincare brands such as Alpha-H and ASAP.

Its future also looks bright with the continued global expansion of Laser Clinics Australia. KKR, the global private equity firm, bought the leading aesthetic treatments provider in 2017 for $650 million. In June this year, the investment major raised another $300 million to ramp up Laser Clinics Australia further global expansion.
