Total Beauty Network (TBN), which celebrates its 20th anniversary in 2024, recently hosted its annual conference in Melbourne, bringing together over 100 team members from Australia and New Zealand. The three-day event, themed “The Best is Yet to Come,” featured inspiring speakers, informative workshops, and the unveiling of exciting new products and marketing strategies.

Keynote speakers included Stacy Jane, founder and CEO of Escabags, who shared her touching journey of providing escape bags for women fleeing domestic violence, and Hannah Jackson, Buying Manager at Direct Chemist Outlet, who offered valuable industry insights. Anna Cattelan, CEO of Go Vita, discussed the successful partnership with TBN and explored future opportunities.

Tony Rechtman, Founder and Executive Chair of TBN, reflected on the brand’s growth, stating, “Our story, from humble beginnings to a thriving team of over 100, is a testament to our passion and commitment to excellence in the beauty industry. The best is yet to come.”

CEO Liz Webster emphasised TBN’s commitment to innovation, saying, “Our conference is a platform to foster creativity and showcase our exciting new product launches and marketing plans across our portfolio of brands.” The event also focused on engaging Gen Z consumers and leveraging the digital age for effective communication.

Founded in 2004 by Tony and Sharon Rechtman, TBN launched its first brand, Designer Brands Cosmetics (DB Cosmetics), which has since become one of Australia’s top community pharmacy makeup brand, offering high-quality cosmetics for under $25. The brand’s success is evident, with over three million products sold annually.

“Sharon and I created Designer Brands to challenge the misconception that affordable makeup couldn’t match high-end quality. In many cases, our products exceed the quality of their designer counterparts,” Tony said.

TBN’s brand portfolio also includes Inika Organic, Raww Cosmetics, and Colour by TBN. Inika Organic named supermodel and eco-warrior Robyn Lawley as its global ambassador to promote the importance of using products that are healthy for both the skin and the environment.
