Ecobiology, a fusion of ‘ecosystem’ and ‘biology’, is a positive approach that values the well-being of the skin.

It recognises the interconnectedness and interaction between the skin’s ecosystems (biology and physiology), individual lifestyles, and the larger planet.

Guided by these principles, French skincare company NAOS assists the skin in adapting to its environment and harnessing its own resources to address the underlying causes of imbalances and restore its natural functions.

Bioderma, Institut Esthederm, and Etat Pur are three brands owned by NAOS that stem from and embrace this ecobiological approach.

Bioderma recently celebrated the launch of its Sensibio Micellar Cleansing Oil with a VIP event in Sydney, which also celebrated the brand’s collaboration with up-and-coming designer Erik Yvon‘s Afterpay Australian Fashion Week (AAFW) runway show (see below video).

The event took place at Franca Brasserie, a renowned French restaurant, where guests were treated to a luxurious experience of ending the day “the French way.”

Renowned makeup artist and host of the launch event, Kevin Kaila, expressed his excitement: “I thought I had all the essentials for my cleansing routine, but then the new Sensibio Micellar Cleansing Oil arrived and proved that there’s always room for improvement. As someone who frequently wears a lot of makeup, I adore how gentle the new oil is on my skin. It’s an instant addition to my routine—a true game changer.”

The Sensibio Micellar Cleansing Oil, now available nationwide at Chemist Warehouse, has already exceeded expectations with over 1,000 units sold within the first two weeks of its release.
